Many thanks for the book; it’s great. What is so excellent about it is the depth and “width” of information covered. Bullying and harassment calls are amongst the most difficult calls we have; people are often stressed “off the planet”, crying, and sometimes suicidal. (JS, counselor, telephone help line)
Just wanted to tell you your book is fantastic and a real page turner [and] has been especially helpful to me at the present moment as I am facing almost identical problems in my workplace. But your book has given me great courage to handle such harassment effortlessly, and turn the heat back on my troublemakers. (TJ, IT manager)
Thank you for your book “Bullying in the Workplace”. It wasn’t until I read your book that I fully understood what was happening to me but unfortunately by then the damage had been done. (MH, office manager)
Thankful for the wonderful information provided, which led to [my workplace] now having to find a remedy for their mismanagement of my grievance. (CL)
I’ve nearly finished it and it’s great. Really well-written, easy to understand, and as I read what others had gone through I was going, ‘Yes! Yes! That happened to me!’ It made me feel better about my own experience. (MW, retired, victim of bullying)
… your book – it’s great. It is a fantastic resource … Seems like you have hit a cord, which is not surprising given the numbers of bullied workers everywhere who are desperate for some acknowledgement of what has happened to them. Well done. (SD, director of community centre)
Nearly finished reading your book. It is excellent. I have been bullied by about 5-6 female managers (I lose count) and am still being bullied in a very unusual situation. I found the book very helpful. (CL)
I’ve been reading your book on the train and am really enjoying it (which I never expected to do). I’ve learned a lot from it already about how I should approach patients who’ve been bullied. (MB, medical practitioner)
Bullies are born in schools and go on to be workplace bullies. My son was the victim of school bullying that was not handled by a bullying principal (school bully grown up). My son suicided aged 20 years after having his life destroyed at school. Keep up public awareness! (J, parent of victim)
